A MODEST OFFER TO THE GUN LEGISLATORS
In a response to the Nashville school shooting horror, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R‑La.) managed to add a clause to the rote “keep those families in our prayers” that in any other context might indicate he actually has a grip on the reality and urgency of the issue: “…and then see if there were things that were missed along the way.”
Really? Okay.
Nine months ago, I used my “Perch” to pose six questions to clear up my confusion over mass shootings in the U.S.
In a humble effort to help Mr Scalise and his fellow lawmaker colleagues “along the way”, I offer them again by way of a link that’s even easier than clicking the trigger on an AR-15.

You lost me at AR at full auto… There’s no such thing as a AR with a full auto switch.
Ah. I stand corrected and will correct the line. Thank you.
hold off on your correction…
while it is true the AR-15 has no switch there
are four ways to convert an AR-15 to full automatic…they are outlined in the AFTE
journal…some ways fairly simply, other ways
require some expertise but all are doable…
Technically I was wrong so I changed it to “click the trigger on an AR-15
👍
I did correct it TY
here’s all you need to know…
congressional republican tim burchett of Tennessee says “we’re not gonna fix it…
criminals will always be criminals”…burchette
is against any increase in background checks…
congressional republican(first term) andy ogles,
a far-rightist who embellished his resume and posed with his gun-toting family for a Christmas
card hasn’t apologized for the card but
did offer his thoughts and prayers for the recent
shooting victims…pretty good of him since he
represents the district where the covenant school shooting occurred…i think he homeschools his kids…
just two more enlightened politicians who seem
comfortable with school violence…
they are not alone in the halls of legislature…
and we expect progress on gun laws?…
yeah, and I will win multiple lotteries…
